The History of Hometown Service Center:
Ensuring Family Safety, Serving Community & Quality Auto Care.

Hometown Service Center was established in 2002 by Tim Kuchler. Tim has lived in Westerville all of his life, except while serving in the United States Navy. The Kuchler family operated the Marathon State in Uptown Westerville (where the CVS is) for over 40 years. After the station closed, Hometown Service Center was formed in its current location. Tim's mission was simple: to provide the best possible repair service for the people of Westerville & the surrounding area at a fair price while standing behind his work.
Ask any of his customers...he simply cares about them and treats them well.

Hometown Service Center is a family business--Owner, Wife, Mother & Son are actively involved in the day-to-day operations. Even the family dogs, Lita & Bueller are onsite to greet visitors. Hometown understands service to the community. Tim has served on the Westerville Zoning Board, the Westerville Uptown Review Board and is currently a trustee for the Westerville Visitors Convention Bureau, which hosts 4th. Friday. Hometown Service Center is also involved with the W.A.R.M. program & Annehurst Elementary School's "Why Go Dry" program, designed to encourage its students to drink more water. Tim regularly makes appearances & car care presentations, recently a series for the Westerville Public Library System.

Hometown Service Center currently employees 6 ASE-certified technicians to serve its customers. Tim believes in continuous education for his employees. Tim is an ASE-certified Master Technician and his expertise has been featured on 10TV, The Other Paper & Suburban News to name just a few. Hometown Service Center is a state-of-the art facility & maintains up-to-date equipment and software resources to stay in line with the ever-changing automotive market. It is a great alternative to taking your car to the dealership, yet still keeping your vehicle's warranty in tact. Hometown's database tracks customers repairs & sends automatic service and factory maintenance reminders to keep you moving.Hometown is also recognized by the industry. Credentials include: AAA Approved Auto Repair, NAPA AutoCare Center, BBB, Westerville Chamber of Commerce, ASE, ASA & a highly notable service recognition list.
